Urban Synergy works with designated schools and education providers that refer young people who fit our criteria for an Urban Synergy mentor and the majority of our mentees have been referred by their schools. Referrals are also taken from the Probation Service, Social Services, the Police and other agencies.
Urban Synergy is often approached by parents wanting a mentor for their child – it seems that now more than ever, parents are concerned about the quality of role model relationships that their child might be exposed to. Urban Synergy does not take direct referrals from parents unless there are exceptional circumstances. We will, however provide information to parents accessing mentoring support services.
