Charity run for ACLT

NigelAll Events, News

acltHow would you fancy running through London’s beautiful Regents Park whilst raising funds for the ACLT charity?

In memory of Daniel De-Gale we would like to honour the 1st anniversary of his passing by asking you all to run in Daniel’s name. Thank You.

You asked for another race where both men and women could run/jog together to raise funds for the ACLT… and we listened, this is your 2nd chance!

The ACLT are holding its 2nd 10k “Marrow-thon” on Sunday 4th October 2009 in London’s Regents park. The emphasis on this occasion is on run/jog!

We would very much like you to consider joining us in the run on behalf of the ACLT… so that we can ultimately benefit the families living with leukaemia and all blood related cancers through the work of the charity.

The aim of the ACLT is to raise the required funds to set up an independent bone marrow register.

This will allow the charity to undertake worldwide donor searches and test potential bone marrow donors in the ACLT ‘Daniel De-Gale’ testing and research laboratories.

Taking part in the ACLT 10k “Marrow-thon” would mean helping the charity towards this ultimate goal by taking an alternative approach to fundraising.

To enter the race please open the attached application form and return it with an entrance fee cheque of £12 to the ACLT, Southbridge House, Southbridge Place, Croydon CR0 4HA.

ACLT Office Number: Tel no. 020 8240 4480.

Once we have received your completed application form we will email back with an Entrance Pack so you are able to start raising funds.

There really is no excuse! Run for their lives, you can make a difference for someone!
